Anne L. Hitt
AEA/AGMA Stage Manager
Anne L. Hitt is a AEA/AGMA Stage Manager with more than 13 years professional experience in live theatre and special events.
While currently based in Seattle, WA, Anne travels all over the west coast and often works in Los Angeles and Southern California. She holds an MFA in Stage Management from the University of California, Irvine.
Anne is also the founder and creator of SM Boot Camp: A Stage Management Intensive.
I have loved stage managing for more then 12 years now and I have been stage managing full-time as my career for 10 years. I love working in Theatre and Opera because the people make it easy to come to work. I am always looking to add to my experience and skills, which is why I earned an MFA in Stage Management from UC Irvine.
I believe that stage management is a field that is vitally important to having a successful show and I make sure each project runs smoothly and is enjoyable for everyone involved.
In addition, I spend my extra time mentoring young stage managers and providing guidance and training through SM Boot Camp: A Stage Management Intensive. I believe in supporting new stage managers and helping them gain the skills to be successful.
